We hereby inform you that as of 1 September 2020 there will be a change in the application of the bank’s current payment terms concerning cross-border payments with the service fee type “Remitter pays (OUR)”.

According to the payment terms, the bank debits the additional payment costs from the client’s account if the costs of the transfer in the case of an OUR payment (i.e. the service fees of payment intermediaries and/or the beneficiary’s bank) exceed the fees set forth in the bank’s price list.

The payment terms are valid as of 1 January 2019 and the cross-border payment service fees set forth in the price list remain applicable.




The following topic concerns you if you are using the Nordea Code App or if you wish to start to use it in the future until the launch of the new Luminor digital channels in Estonia.

In the first week of May, Nordea has released an Update of the Code App (version 1.8.0). If you download it and then while creatin a new profile, you should choose International profile as the local profiles – Estonian, Latvian, Lithuanian – are not available after the update anymore.

• iOS users can choose the local languagae later from the settings of the application.
• Android users can use the versioon 1.8.0 only in English.
Nothing will change regarding your exisiting profile and you can still use it in local language.

Taking into account the described changes, we do not recomment to dowloand the version 1.8.0 of the Nordea Code App.You will find detailed instructions on our website.

A Beneficiary’s address and country must be filled in for all cross-border payments. Cross-border payments without a beneficiary’s address will be rejected.

Details of payment should be filled in English only and contain a clear reference to the purpose of the payment (invoice/contract number, invoice/contract date, description of goods or services etc.).
